Scottish Chef of the Year in 2016, Ian became Britain's youngest ever Michelin star chef in 1980 and went on to hold 8 further Michelin Stars. Blackaddie Hotel which he and his wife Jane owned and ran for 14 years won numerous awards including 4 Gold Stars from Visit Scotland, 4 Gold Stars and 2 Rosettes from AA and Winner of Thistle Awards Best Restaurant Experience 2020.
